Having turned a couple rings based upon tutorials of people on this site, I wanted to post a simple and easy tool I made for sanding and finishing rings.
Here I took a piece of wood a couple inches long, drilled out the center, placed it on a pen mandrel, and gave it a slight taper.
From there, you wrap a small piece of sandpaper around the wood and slip the ring over it to hold the ring firmly in place.
You can now easily sand and finish the ring.
Any other DIY tools you guys use to make little jobs easier?
