i have used both and i believe the baron is just a little better quality.

The nib section on the aristocrat is round, the same section on the baron is 6 sided.

I believe that is only on the roller ball. I just received 2 Barons 1 fountain 1 roller ball and the fountain one has a rounded nib area.

I've done a couple Aristocrats 2 . One of the plastic piece that inserts into the base of the cap to screw the cap on came lose/broke and now slides freely into the top of the cap..makes it so I can't close the pen and Im probably going to have to disassemble and replace it. Also the Baron I believe had a few more pieces to put together out of the package.
