I very rarely turn anything but timber, maybe the odd antler, so I just started turning some of the blanks that the most generous John @JohnU sent me as a Bash prize.
First is his Pheasant feathers on a Diamond Knurl which he also sent me along with the bushes.
Second is the Vintage Cebloplast, absolutely a first for me, which just does not like heat. Very slow drilling and sanding required.
Next is compressed Hemp stalks......I have never turned anything as fragile. Some repair work required during the turning process.
These were a challenge but I really like the end result. IMG_0443.JPGIMG_0453.JPGIMG_0467.JPGThank you John.

Beautifully executed Alan! From seeing your past work here I knew these would not be a problem for you, and I'm happy to hear you can add some new materials to your list of materials turned. Thank you for posting them!

Enjoy,
John
