I had some time to make a few more Dichrolam Fire Burl blanks the other day and here is one of the results. The black titanium of the Sienna kit made by CSUSA (https://www.woodturnerscatalog.com) really makes the color shifting properties of the Dichrolam "pop"! It's super satisfying to overcome the technical difficulties of casting this material, and well worth the efforts!

A gentleman by the name of John Blazey (https://www.dichrolam.com) is the brilliant inventor and maker of the pre-lam material and deserves all the credit for developing such a unique material. Simply beautiful.

Great looking blanks Mark! Don't sell yourself short... he makes beautiful material but you got it to work for you. I've been making blanks with his material also and know the work you've put in to be successful. Congrats!
