Devin question

Has anyone made a Devin pen? I know this is an odd question, but do they make noise when you extend the refill? Like the "click" sound and feel of a Compson. My sister doesn't like the "silent" click of the Vertex. Yes, she's weird. LOL

I have made a few Devins ... like 'em ... quite a smooth, positive action without being "noisy".
