Thinking about selling my jet 1014VS lathe.

I have a shop fox lathe that i primary use and the jet mainly is used for buffing.

So thinking about selling it to free up more floor space, what would be a fair price to ask for it.

Think I payed around $500 a couple years ago and i am the second owner of it.
Runs good just need to clean it up.

(was going to post this in market research but don't think it belongs in there so wasn't sure where to ask since I am not selling it for sure so didn't go to for sale area)

John, part of the challenge will be the price range that they sold for. I got mine when Jet was getting ready to release the "12" series and walked out the store for about $350.

In general, the price range used is in the 40-60 percent of new price with the higher side often involving other gear or tools being thrown in.

If no longer on the market, the price is towards the lower end.

And there are some old lathes (craftsman one tube lathes in my opinion) that are too costly in frustration even when free.
