I was trying to make an oval bowl by turning on two axes. About 80 % of the way through turning, I made a careless tool rest mistake and knocked off a section of the rim. I tried to salvage something and ended up with this odd shaped piece which might qualify as a bowl. I intentionally left the mid section thick to get the doubled tapered look. Cedar, 14.5" at its widest point.
