It has been a few months since I have heard an update on the Delta Tool Company. I talked months ago with a sales rep and he really knew very little except the Uni-saw was going to stay for sure. He did not know about 46-460 and the "bench-top" tools future.

As of the last post, everyone's general consensus was, this could be a good thing, but anybody heard anything lately?

Delta

I have a part on back order since June, I have had no response after calls. Sadly, at this time I am going to file a complaint with my states attorney general. I have paid for the parts and at this time they have taken my money. I will also file a fraud alert with my bank. This will include old and new owners. They took my money at the end of May, they new the company was to be sold. As with many companies today it was about the money.

I don't want to file these complaints; however, they have left me no other choices.

I don't know what is going on with the sale of Delta. I have used Delta tools for several years and cannot complain about their service.

Soon after purchasing a 46-460, the motor began heating excessively. I called Delta and this was the exact conversation: Question; "Can you replace the motor yourself?" Answer; "Yes." Comment; "It is in the mail." I received the motor three days later, delivered to my home.

Last evening the variable speed began to mal function. Called Delta this AM. Was informed the unit was under warrenty and the tech I was speaking with set me up with a repair center in Richmond. The repair center confirmed the unit was under warrenty and asked me to bring the receipt and unit to their shop, and it will be repaired.

I would not comment on Delta service for others, but for me, it has been fast and competent.
