Well another tool followed me home. It is Delta 10" Hybrid Saw - Model 36-714. 1.75 hp 110v. With Biesemeyer Fence. Includes Bench Dog Cast Iron router table extension, Mobile base, dado blade, extra inserts and all manuals. Custom made dust collecting attachments for the saw and the router are very nice as well. Price was a steal. It is in mint condition. This saw must have been used by the husband of the little old lady who drove that car with no miles on it.
The funny thing is that another person had agreed to buy the saw and did not follow up. He knew that there was a waiting list of others interested in looking at the saw or in buying it. Maybe his wife put her foot down or maybe he figured to string out the deal and get it for less. His loss and my gain. For this deal I would have gone to the bank for cash in a New York minute. Oh wait I did that. Tomorrow I get to put it back together and get it into my shop. It is like Christmas but I do not have to feed my worthless brother in law or pretend that my heart in not in the shop.
This is another Craigslist find like my Powermatic band saw, Powermatic dust collector, RBI Scroll saw and my Dewalt thickness planer. If you are willing to get past tons of worthless crap there are a few real bargains on Craigslist. Just wait, watch and keep looking with cash in hand. Everything listed was bought for less than half price and in perfect condition. Leaves more money for wood and blanks.
