G'day!
Recently I was asked to make a matching fountain and rollerball set inspired by the Delta Dolcevita pen. As I haven't ventured into kitless yet, I decided to use the el grande/ noble kits.
Also he requested that I used timber.
For the caps I used 6300 year old ancient redgum (carbon dated) and for the barrels I used native Australian conkerberry.
CA finish.
Also gave him a matching sierra in conkerberry but finished with linseed oil.
Hope you like them!
The last picture is the Delta

B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L !!

Thanks for showing !!

I am familiar with the El Grande, but I had never seen the Noble before.

Funny though ... if you hadn't told us otherwise, I would have thought the dark wood was ancient Blackgum !!!!

Really stunning work Casey.

I assume you have had "Penpal" sign the certificate of age for the trees ??šŸ˜‰

The impact of the contrasts in timber is frankly awe inspiring. As I check the photos some more I must admit I do t actually find the delta in the final shot anything like as appealing . Sorry of that offends !
