$700 or best offer
So since getting this new metal lathe, I find that I only use my wood lathe as a buffer – and it's rather too nice to be used only for buffing – so I'm putting it up for sale so I can buy a proper buffer with two wheels and some metal lathe tooling and pen parts that I need.
I can't get pictures up here - but you can see all the pictures on my site here:
Lathe and stuff for sale… | Newton Pens
The lathe is $730 brand new on amazon.
The woodchuck tool is $80 brand new
The woodchuck tool is just awesome and a great tool to have for turning acrylics.
New box of Inserts were $17 or so brand new
(they're still new) – I think they're square tips
Tenon turning tool 1 – $15
Carbide tipped Tenon turning tool 2 – $20
Benjamen's Best skew 1″ – $18
Scroll Chuck – $89
I don't have any of the extra jaws for the scroll chuck.
Drill chuck – $23
There are two drill chucks on MT 2 arbors.
Mini Grinder – $50
The mini grinder is nothing special but makes short work of putting a nice edge on those carbide tips for the woodchuck tool.
Live center with points – $75
I've lost a few of the points – who knows where… the three included are in the picture. I have the little wedge tool for removing tools up on the shelf somewhere…
Big live center – $16
Carbide dead center – $11
So that's about $1100 worth of stuff all together.
I'm asking $700 or best offer for the lot.
