Deft finish

Has anyone here used deft thinned 50-50 then applying as you would a friction polish? Just wondering how it will hold up. I've been doing this and then buff and I get a better shine then when I try ca finish.

Never tried what you proposed, but someone recently posted a recipe for a friction polish using lacquer. I might have to give that a try.

Jack, there is a Ken on sawmill creek that does that without thinning. Turners forum.
