Decorative bands for caps and bodies

I've seen a number of posts in here (though I am a newer member) about using segmenting material for decorative bands in kitless pens. I have used this material successfully several times, and I'm interested to hear what else you all are using as band material. I was considering just using some brass, but I'm hoping somebody can point me to something more exotic, or maybe a material that could be used on the near end of a cap at the very end for a more elegant look.

I'll suggest you check out this thread. Start from the last page and work your way back. You'll see many examples of designs and materials. This will help to narrow down the designs you want, which will dictate some material options.

Hi again Anthony! I've been searching around to see if anyone sells cap bands, and found this thread. Unfortunately it seems Richard has retired and shut down the website. I'm surprised how difficult it is to find anyone selling cap bands for kitless pens just searching on Google.
