The big brown truck just went by. My wife went outside and got the Woodcraft shipment. Three bolt action kits as these seem to be popular. The icing on the cake was the Microjig Grr-ripper. Been seeing them many time but decided to get one as I think I will be spending more time with the table saw, making pen blanks. Anyone here use one? Your opinion?

I use one. I like it but the more I use it the less grippy it is.

I almost bought it many times but wind up making my own. The problem is and yes they sell add on parts but I believe the thinnest sliver you can cut is 1/8" I make mine from a piece of wood and attach sandpaper to the bottom. I put a small block of wood on back to help from sliding off the board but sandpaper usually holds well. After so many uses just either cut a new one or just cut the bottom off and start again. I like that I cut a finger hole so keeps the hand up high. If cutting long boards I make one with a longer shoe.
