It was a surprise to all to read that they are going out of business. The whys are not known but I do believe their selling model could be one reason. They to my thoughts did not make them easily available to a huge market here in the USA, very easily. Their price margins also made some kits untouchable to many. They were perhaps in my opinion the best pen kit maker we have seen. The quility of their kits were always top notch. They needed more USA vendors who did not have to absorb such huge inventories. But that is what they based their sales on was huge orders. The reports I have been reading on FB and other forums is that they seem to be waivering and just maybe someone will step forward and buy the company. That would be wishful thinking. The other thing is they may become a very limited business with limited stock. Nothing is definite just yet from what I read. One other factor that comes into play is the tariffs that this President has impossed and hurt our country. Sanctions and tariffs could be playing a factor in their supply chain as it is with ours and this has caused the response they chose to take. But as said we do not know for sure what caused the company to take this road. My suggestion is to buy the kits that you use most and get your supply as much as you can afford. As far as kits disappearing is nothing new. Woodcraft is famous for that practice. They too had some really nice kits that just disappear.
