More like I should have paid more attention, but still... crap. This was a nice looking pen. Basic, but nice. I noticed the clip wasn't touching the barrel when I was taking pictures. OK, easy enough. I've fixed that a few times with some jewelers pliers. Just takes a few seconds. Not this time. It's pretty cheap metal anyway (can't remember what its called), but normally it's not a problem since there isn't much stress on a pen.

So, you think maybe I'll remember to check the thing before I press it next time? It's bound to happen again at some point, but I'll think twice about fixing it.

That is nice. What kit is that?

That's the ProX. (pro-ex or procks?)
Not sure who manufactures or markets it, but I got it at EB

I can't fix the clip since it's a soft cast alloy, but I can trim it down even to the clip ring. Guess it will be a clipless pen. I'm sure I'd have to be careful even bending it slightly before assembly, but it sounds like the clip not touching is common with this kit.

For what it's worth, this one did the same thing and took 2 seconds to fix.
