Cypress Pencil

I made this pencil for one of the Amish farmers that i get veggies from. He also makes outside furniture, and last week when I drove my mom to his house, he asked me to make a pencil out of a piece of cypress. It is a soft wood, however with a little thin CA and a lot of patience, it can be done. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks guys, it is not x cut, it is the natural curls in the grain.

Nice looking pencil, and I like the Cypress. I made a group of pens for a client from his cypress and like you said, a little ca helps alot with the soft wood.
