Well, I've been wanting to get to more turning... and yet more cutting boards were ordered. I don't have a lot of clamps. But I did get four basic 'racing stripe' boards cut out... just ready for the glue-up. The other board is what I'm calling a whack-a-doodle board. I have no idea how it is going to turn out in the end.

Those look great, John.

When I started doing cutting boards, I picked up a passel of Harbor Freight's aluminum bar clamps very similar to the ones in your shot.

Cheap and they work great for such application.

Yea... the 24" ones are $10 right now. I'm a preacher and get paid on Sunday... so... Monday I'll be heading over there to pick up four of them.

Cut a piece of 1 by stock to slide in the clamp bar to stiffen them up. There are a couple YouTube videos on the procedure.
