Finished this up today. Not without problems, but I think it turned out ok. The problem was with the cap, being quite thin. There was only 1.5mm wall thickness when drilling and the wood started to push out of the Alumilite. Next time I'll tape it up before drilling, or invest in some boring tools. Once drilled I flooded the inside of the cap with CA. I wanted to leave the finish natural, which was sanded to 600 then buffed. It's a shame the cap appears a bit lighter than the body due to the thinness. Section is Ebonite fitted with a JoWo #12 broad nib.
C&C's welcome.

Spectacular Pen John,
Beautiful Blank,
Great Profile and Exercution.
Terrific recovery, If you hadn't mentioned the cap colour I wouldn't have noticed it.
Congratulations,
Brian.

Thanks Bob. I like the broad nibs, and especially the JoWo ones. Super smooth. I get some left handers who struggle with a medium nib because they "push" the nib to try one of these and they do find them easier.
Regards
John
