Finally had some time to make an attempt at Knife scales. I really like the looks of the Boker Snowflake Etched Damascus folder. I also had some wood i purchased with the idea of making knife scales so I wanted to get at least 1 done. Man does it take a long time to make these things exactly the same & profiling them was no easy task either. I think it turned out really well IMHO.

What do you guys think? Maybe a market for off the shelf knife with some custom scales?

May I politely ask you to reduce the size of the pictures. I have a 22 inch screen and still have to scroll across to see the knife and it doesn't show well that way.

Good looking scales and knife Bill. Have you ever used oak on a knife before? I have beed cutting some oak lately that has lots of character, I just wonder how it worked for knife scales.
