Custom Grevillea Stylus

I wanted a thicker pen than the standard Slimline, so I made a custom centre band out of some 316 stainless, its 11mm or 7/16" diameter.

The wood is some unknown type of Grevillea that I collected from beside the road, they had knocked some trees down to widen the road, I just can't drive past good wood

2 coats of thin CA, and Hut Wax.

Nothing is safe in timber by the side of the road Brad,well seen and acted apon.

Beautiful pen enhanced IMHO by your centre band.

Thanks Peter. Any tree laying on its side is fair game I reckon.

Not sure I like the look of the extended stylus, but it serves a purpose I guess.
