Curvado Twist Pen

Has anyone made any of these pens. Last week I started to make one but stopped when I measured the Coupler Band size and compared it to the Bushing size. The bushing size is .660 but the coupler size is .52.

I talked this morning to PSI tech and they said this is correct, that the Curvado has a recessed band in the center.

My question is - Has anyone done any of these with the center band of the pen being recessed. Does it look ok? Or did anyone just use a different size bushing to the blank matches up with the center band like normal?

Don, I have done some of these pens and sold them. They do look different with the recessed center band but my customers thought it was plus. I round the ends of the blanks at the center band a bit and think the look is just fine.
