Wood harvested from a friend's house just down the street.

I love curly wood. I'll be putting more of a finish on the second one.

Beautiful bowls Dan.

I love simply designed bowls (NOT so simple to turn!). These are great!

The colors and grain are very nice.

Looks great Dan! Do you do one step turning or rough turn and let dry then finish.....the whole patience thing is getting to me on some green bowls I've turned but don't want to speed dry them either

One was rough turned and anchorsealed for while.

The other one was a blank I cut and seal and the. Turned 6 months later. Hopefully it doesn't crack.

Usually you can tell bowls turned all the way from green because they are more oval. :)

Inspiration and Motivation!

Dan, very nice; your bowl will be an inspiration for my wife and I and the maple that just cut from a neighbor's yard. I will pick up some walnut oil for the bowls that we will inside.
