That is really cool. I'd never have thought to do it at the top of the bowl. Most of what I've seen are inlays on the side. GOOD JOB!

Nice! I've done quite a bit of turquoise inlay, really enhances the wood, especially when used to fill cracks! Chryscolla is very nice with cherry it is blue-green, I've used it with cherry and it works well.
