Curly chatoyant koa on Ti Duke! :)

Hey guys,

Here is a new wood for me, koa, this was given to me by Martin aka MartinPens.

20 something coats of medium CA glue as always! I plan on getting more of that wood, it shines like gold!

The bright yellow tone is stunning. The Koa I have is only the red/orange variety which I purchased in Hawaii recently. What island did that blank come from?

Pen kit is Duke, available at LauLau WoodWork, it uses the same tubes as the Jr series.

Stand up and go turn, now! I have to get more koa, it is FANTASTIC.
