I had the wood come off its pad. I used 5min epoxy. How do you glue the material on so it stays on. ????. Carl

I use the 24 hr epoxy for this type of thing.

Epoxy is the best option, but did you rough up the metal a little? Epoxy likes a mechanical bond, and if the metal was smooth and probably lacquer coated, the epoxy probably didn't grab.

Try E6000 adhesive.
