Headed to the kidney specialist to hopefully find out what they mass is that is growing on my kidney. It was discovered while trying to figure out what is wrong with my stomach. They say it is possible that there could be a link between my kidney and digestive problems. Hoping for just a cyst and no cancer. So cross your fingers.

Not much of a luck kind of person, but I will praying for the best, that everything works out and that you get very good news from the medical staff.

Take care,
Dan

You are in my thoughts and prayers, and please let us know when you find out.

Well the verdict is in. There is a 50/50 chance it is cancer. They are going to byopsy it and if it's still not a positive answer they may take my kidney. He wants to wait till the byopsies are done, but left me with the taste of it being cancer. So I guess I have to wait a few more weeks.

Dustin both Diane and I are rooting for you, if you need anything call you have my #. I'll be back on tuesday and will come up if needed....

I will be praying that when they do the biopsy, that is comes back benign (not cancerous). That is some scarry news, I hope you get some better news in a couple of weeks.

Thanks everyone. Still not sure what is causing my digestive problems, but hopefully I will have answers on that soon. Bad part is I wasn't even prepared for what I heard today. Hell I'm only 35 and just didn't think anything other than a cyst in my mind, but when he told me he held me to the last appointment of the day because he likes to spend extra time to talk to patients that have cancer or possibly have it, it never sunk in. I am remaining positive that everything will come back negative. Hey I have survived 2 brain aneurysms in the last 12 years and I am sure not going to let this run my life. My family will get through it if it is and if it isn't it just gives me that much more to be thankful for.

Let me just say 1 thing. If something doesn't feel right get it checked. Don't let your pride, money or anything else stand in your way. If I had I would have died from an aneurysm years ago. Don't think I am to young to worry about that. My first aneurysm was found when I was 23 and at that age I was bullet proof or atleast thought I was. I'll keep everyone posted as I find out more. Now turn some pens. It was all I could do to keep driving the 4 miles to Woodcraft today to buy everything I needed to turn one.

Positive

That means there is a 50/50 chance it is NOT cancer !!

No news yet. Still waiting on the biopsy. Basically waiting on the interventional radiologist to decide how it has to be done and if it can be done. It is in a hard to reach area next to my spine so they are having to look at all the options to try and reduce all the risks as much as they can.
