Great, Bernie, way to mess with my mind! I have decided to go with a Jr Gent gold Ti with my cross blank. Now you go and post this picture and make me think of the Jr Statesman kit!!

Beautiful work!

I have a special cross blank. After I, hopefully, give it the turning and finishing it deserves, I will post some pix of it.

I really like the color combinations. Wood to wood, and the wood to the metal components combinations. Very appealing.

The oval appears to be framed in black. Am I seeing this right, is there a thin black outline?
That is one nice looking pen.

This pen was fun to turn,I don't no what to say, I use a scarper I didnot have to sand after turning,1 coat thin CA,it was still smooth so I added 7 coats of thick CA then I added 1 coat thin CA, Sanded with 400 at slow speed, with the lathe off sand lenthwise, MM 1 time, buff with white diamond.
That how I do a pen

The other pen was a slimline purple heart,holly/bloodwood cross.
$250.00 for both, the girl said she has never seen anything like it.
