I've been waiting to see one of these. I've read about the re-engineering hemp fibers into wood flooring but haven't seen it yet. Looks very interesting, like a smaller fiber version of heather wood from Ireland. Nice job!

I know you said it was stabilized and dyed but how did you get so many different colors into it? I found www.hempwood.com but the minimum order is 40 blanks for $150. Do you have a different source?

I did not stabilize it, the Blank was from Ken Frisbie

FYI I called hempwood.com and they let me order 2 of the $15 4 packs and one one of the bottle stopper blanks to make crosscut blanks with. He said they just don't like doing smaller orders but I explained that most pen makers don't want to order 40 blanks at a time. He understood.
