I like that pen very much !!! I have a box of offcuts that I've been saving and now I know what to do with them !

I think you could have fit in 20-30 more timbers!

REALLY NICE!!! Can you post more of your work? ...This wasn't your first !

What an Effort Peter.
My eye's didn't know where they were to focus on.
Definately an "A+" for Effort and Application.
Perhaps after you have built ten or more you might have it down to a fine Art, and a Reasonable use of your spare time.
Joking aside, I think I can appreciate just how much effort you put into that Blank.
And I am sure that not many members will try to copy your Unique Design and Concept.
Great Work.
Brian.

Thanks for all of the great comments. As you can see by this pen, I really enjoy spending time making my pens. Not all of them survive long enough to be a nice finished pen like this one. I enjoy a good challenge I guess.

That is one amazing pen! And to imagine that it came out of your scrap pile. Did you by chance keep up with the time frame it took to create that blank?

I worked off and on for a couple of weeks on the blank. Cut, glue, clamp, repeat. I don't think it was a lot of hours, just al little bit at a time,
