Crazy Lathe Video!!

So i found this video on youtube and thought some people might enjoy it. To me it just looks like a death wish lol!! Its a 150HP van that was coverted into a lathe I guess, I dont really know how to explain it!!

Unfortunately, rather than showing viewers an amazing wood turning on a cool implementation of an offbeat lathe, it did neither, at least for me. I didn't watch the whole thing, but assume he lived thru it ...

I can't believe he was using a roughing gouge instead of a bowl gouge....

You should see the table saw they made out of a chain saw. They do a decent job of making some ROUGH dovetail joints with it...

I was waiting for the gouge to catch and poke a hole in the fender. Or his wife coming out saying she needed to the use the Sunday Church mobile...
