Does anyone know of another part supplier other than Sears. I need to replace the drive belt on my lathe and was wondering if anyone knew of another supplier. Sears wants 58.00 and I kinda think thats on the high side. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the idea. The belt is not a standard V belt. It's about 1 inch wide and has ridges on the bottom.

Those are timing belts. The belts are normally measured by the width and length and tooth spacing. The usual spacing is .20 (5 teeth per inch)

You should be able to get one from any bearing and belt supply. Gates distributors will have them......

Added Later: If the belt has any standardized part numbers on it write them down and take the belt with you.

It's what they call in the automotive market as a serpentine belt. They number as the number of ribs on the underside of the belt. The thinnest I sold was a 3 ribbed belt. Take it into an automotive store and try to find one.
