I wanted to give 2 thumbs up & a shout out to this company for going above & beyond the call of customer service in every aspect.
I bought this tool: Linky.
I was in a hurry & tried to sharpen it free hand for a slight touch up.
BIG MISTAKE!!! I have a Wolverine Vari-Grind tool, but I got lazy
and figured a quick touch up couldn't hurt it.
Boy, was I wrong !!
I couldn't get it right, so before I ruined a $80 tool, I called them.
They went in the warehouse, pulled a new one off the shelf & actually measured the bevel for me.
(For those who have one, it's 40*, BTW.)
I should mention this is my favorite pen turning tool.
If you're looking for a great tool, this one is hard to beat. :wink:
To get it back to the original grind, I have to buy a 40* Raptor gauge tool.
The guy from CSUSA walked me thru what I did wrong, step by step over the phone. I won't go into all the details here, buy suffice it to say this company went out of their way to help me get my tool back without ruining it further.
CSUSA is a great company & their customer service is hard to beat.
I recommend them highly.
