I recently finished another batch of replaceable blade craft knife hardware kits and I have a couple dozen left after people on a notification list got theirs.
These hold xacto "2/B" size blades or Swann-Morton craft blades that many woodworkers like for marking out joinery.
These are a pretty simple turning project that presents endless form and material possibilities. Drill a hole, shape your handle, cut a shoulder for the ferrule - that's it! Finish and epoxy the hardware into the handle and you've made a unique tool for yourself or anyone who appreciates a nice handcrafted tool.
Machined by me in small batches on a couple little vintage Unimat lathe/mills in my home shop.
