So had a little time today to get in the shop. Did 3 bentwood veneer rings that are finished with CA. They are actually fun to do now I got a process down. Then I had a red cedar bottle stopper to do. The other is a bottle stopper made from left over pieces that I had from cutting the holes in floating wine holders. So it's red cedar with a piece of paduck in the middle.

LOVE those rings !! Are they finger size ? And do you have your process documented anywhere ? ... I'd love to do some of those.

Thanks all, yes you can make them any finger size. I made these 10.5mm for my fingers. I don't have it documented, I used this site Learn How to Steam Bend Wood to Make a Ring! | Caterpillar Arts but instead of sanding by hand I made a dowel to size then use blue painters tape to create a shim effect so it stays on there. I cut it to size and trim on the lathe. Then finish with 2 coats CA and then wet sand.
