I think so, these were from Smitty's Pen Works and labeled as SMITTY LIBERTY STAINLESS STEEL (MADE IN USA). I just checked his website, no longer available but, I kind of remember this is the source you mentioned. Really a nice pen to put together and use... Everyone I've made seems to be made with highest quality.
