We have got to call you the "Master Anter Pen" guy. You have got to have made more antler pens than any of us and your experience shows. Good work.

Thanks all,
I can say with great certainty the picture does not do the finish on the antler justice.
I normally have CA on my fingers so I run the pen over my lip to find the rough spots, there aren't any. It's glass all the way around, even the "pithy" spots.
As for the "crest"
I had a request for a "staghorn pen"
It is one thing to have the "bark" show on a pen by accident, quite another to do it on purpose.
This was the fourth blank trying to get it on purpose.
Finding a piece with a shallow enough arc that was a large enough diameter for a cigar pen took four tries.

I love both pens, they look great and you did a excellent job on them. But the lighting is wrong, it cast a bad shadow and makes the pens look a little bowed. [:)]

Very nice work, Eagle. Some antler arrived here today thanks to rootin-tootin-johnny-wooten, I may be pestering you in a day or so.
The antler is as good as I've seen, and the spalted walnut is awesome.

Nice to see your pictures again.
As always your work is inspiring.

Great job on both of them. Understand the antler fiasco. Just finished turning my first two barrels yesterday and one of them was a massive fight to save. I really like them both. Great job!
