Couple of Atrax

These are part of a small commission I did over the weekend.

Blank on Chrome RB is Happy Go Lucky acrylic from BearToothWoods

The blank on the Gold RB is Bahama Breeze Lava from BearToothWoods.

Those are beautiful !!!!! I love the Atrax kit also ! Just a couple of questions ...

What color did you paint the insides of the holes in the two cases ?

Did you turn the barrels straight-sided or with a very slight bulge ? they look almost straight to me.

Mal,

I painted the tubes white, the inside of the blanks white and added a bit of white to tint the epoxy.

They are turned pretty straight. Might be .015-020 bigger in the middle of the cap section. the lower section is pretty straight and then slightly tapers to the smaller end of the lower section.

I prefer this look on the pens I turn.
