If you mean one country completely north of Alaska - none. Greenland could be close, but straddles the Arctic Circle like Alaska does. Iceland is south of the Arctic Circle, east of Greenland.

I had a question. What country is north of the U.S. ? I guesed Canada , Russia both are wrong please help this dummy. Thanks Joe S

OR, headed in another direction, did the question actually read, "What country is the USA North of?"

If it was a test, they can often "kill the English language" but it also changes the entire question.

There is no country north of Alaska.

Well part of Canada is north Alaska, but not all of Canada. As for Greenland wouldn't it be considered to be east of Alaska and wouldn't Russia be considered more to the south of Alaska seeing as you have to go over the north pole and start in a southerly direction to actually get there don't you? Just wondering.
Of course, this all depends on if other countries quit trying to lay claim to, what has always been reconized as Canadian soil. There are numerous countries disputing Canada's claim to the north and it's boundries, and the U.S. is among them.

I think we're going to have to see the EXACT question, and the answer choices if it's multiple choice. There's probably some tricky wording that changes the answer from the obvious "Canada", which is "North of the continental US". If the question is "What country is entirely north of the US", the answer would be "none of the above".

Parts of Canada are closer to the north pole than Alaska so you could make the argument that they are North of the US. In other words to get to them from the northern most point in Alaska you would have to travel Northeast
