I was curious if anyone has ever done an epoxy countertop? I'm wanting to do an epoxy kitchen countertop and was doing some research and thought I'd ask here if anyone had done it and if so, what was a good epoxy recommendation to buy/use.

Can anyone recommend some epoxy that's good? I've got gallons of Silmar 41 but that clearly can't be used so I was looking for some advise on the appropriate produce that a member might have used or heard of.

Alumilite makes a countertop epoxy, Stonecoat as mentioned. leggari is another.
Both Stonecoat and Leggari have lots of videos on You tube.

You might consider doing a smal 12" sample first. My experience with bar top epoxy was that it was extremely hard if sanding was necessary, and then it had to be sanded back to gloss.
