The xray looks more like an aerial view of a golf course with a big pen on it, LOL. The way i make pens, it certainly would survive.

If it takes a few weeks to completely breakdown a penny/dime/quarter....I'd have to call BS on this. 25 hours maybe, but years?

I store large volumes of very strong (95%) acid in plastic containers. Plastic and glass are not so reactive to being exposed to an acid as you may think, unlike metal objects which will corrode.
