I am looking into auctioning off a few pens to help a friend with vet bills. I work on Skidaway Island in Savannah, GA and we have dogs abandoned out here all the time. I found what looks to be a lab mix on Friday, I had a co-worker take him home for the weekend. He was looking for a friend for his one year old mix anyway. They played for hours, he had found he new sister and great new home. By Saturday night he could barley hold his head up. A trip to the emergency vet and he was diagnosed with parvo. He contracted this during his nomadic time on the Island. $800 of vet bills later we are trying to help him, he also has a baby on the way.

So that being said I have two corn snake blanks(1 normal, 1 albino) I need to trade for a few Sierra pen kits. I would like to get at least 1 black ti/platinum finish and 2 gunmetal Sierra kits. I tried getting on Exotics to check prices but could not. So if this is asking for too much please let me know.

Thanks
Jimskio

PM me your address and I'll get 3 of my Arrow kits (Same as the Sierra but can't call them that ) keep the snake blanks , my good deed for the week:biggrin:

Just happen to be a dog lover and wanted to help. The offer still stands and with the trade to Dean you'll have enough component sets to make a few more for to help on the Vet bill.
Roy,

Thank you for the offer! It never ceases to amaze the generosity of IAP members.

Thanks Again,
Jimmy

Now it's my turn to thank a member as I just received an order for 3 Arrow kits at Classic Nib to be sent to Jimmy on those vet bills. This site has some of the best people around. The donor hasn't told me if I can give his name , but I have PM'ed Jimmy with his name.

Cool... I didn't close this right away - makes me glad I didn't. Jim should be a happy guy (as happy as he can be given the poor dog!). Dogs sure do fill a soft spot in our hearts.

Jim - Better start getting blanks ready for the auction.... looks like you are going to be getting about 4x the number of kits you had hoped for (3 from Roy, 3 from a donor, 3 requested on the trade + some extras from my side of the trade)!

Wow guys like I said the generosity never ceases to amaze me. I will try to upload a picture of" Gator" in the casual conversation forum tomorrow. Again thank you guys very much.

Jimmy
