Copper Barron in Red

Well, here is my first pen post. Thought I show off todays pen. I've only been turning for 4 months and this is my first Barron.

A copper Barron with a Crimson Pearl "Bowling Ball" blank. Thought I'd try to top it off with a matching cap. Now, if I can be just as creative in my photo's.

Thanks everybody for the great comments. I really appreciate it.

The finial just popped out, with alittle help of course. All I did was drill a piece of wood with a 13/32" bit about a 1/2" down to support the cap. Then from the underside I just tapped the finial out.
