The other day somehow this direction app or web site or whatever it is became a part of my web pages and I believe with it it now allows many ads to just pop up anywhere any time. How do I clean this out?

Sounds like a trojan or something similar. You have a good antivirus program?

Yes what is this app called. I can not find it in the list of apps on my computer.

When you click on the app that sits in the bottom right corner of the screen this is what you see.

It is called earthview maps and I believe I uninstalled it hopefully. I was able to read the small fine print on one of the ads and it said it was sponsored by earthview maps and that is how I found it. Hopefully now all the pop up ads are gone too. yea!!!
