Robert, just some friendly suggestions... It might help if you were to post some pictures and a listing of what blanks and kits you have available. I know from experience when I sold about 1/3 of my collection of blanks and kits a few years ago that it takes time and effort to do this, but I think it will improve your odds of finding a new home(s) for your items. Additionally, you mentioned "local pickup" and that makes perfect sense for the lathe. However for the kits and blanks you have, they could be shipped very cost effectively via USPS (use Pirate shipping for a discount) anywhere in the US which will greatly expand your potential customer base...
