Thoughts on the corresponding finials?

Ebonite - Stinky, and tough to polish. I may not bother with it again. There are other black options that I think turn out just as nice.

Amedeo Acrylic - A new favorite!

They both add beauty and interest to the pens IMO. I prefer the finial to match the cap - but that is just a personal taste thing. Very well done!

Both are well done IMO. Even the stinky ebonite!

Not to dispute Tony's thought, but I like unmatched with the alternate finial, very nice.

Well done in all respects.

I think you did a fine job with both pens. Not to dispute Mark's thought, but I'm with Tony on the finial matching the pen. As mentioned, this is purely subjective, I'm sure there are many that prefer either. Regardless, a custom finial adds a professional touch that makes it stand out.

Very nice work ... I love those closed end barrels and custom finials !!!!

But .....

I think you should cross the caps over, so that the finials match the barrels.

That would be AWESOMER !!
