A friend has this pile of wood that's been on his property for about 25 years or so. He keeps feeding the wood stove off of it, and suggested I take some. Much of it had nice spalting and flames going through.
I thought I'd try stabilizing this with some blue dye (after an already failed attempt) and like the effect it had.

ETA: forgot to mention adding some mica pearl as fill in for a hole. Used true blue, and russet brown.
