Colouring PR

Hey Folks... just ordered some PR to start experimenting with casting. Now I know there is information in the library which I have been through. But I am still unsure on what to use for pigments.

Mica and Pearl-EX
- only seem to have pearlescent type colours
- what about for plain type solid colours?
PowderCoat
- This seems to be 50/50 success rate from what I have been reading, the colour options are unreal but will it be an expensive lesson trying to figure out this method?

Are there any other options?

Dyes would be your best bet for matte plain colors.

After my experiments I have decided to just use the dyes, micas, and pearlex and get dependable results. I have used quite a bit of resin with my experimentation.

I do have some powder paint that I also use for flat colors.

Castin Craft dye from Hobby Lobby. It's a liquid dye that works very well.
