Hey guys I know it has prob. come up allot but didn't find what I was looking for. What so I use for coloring PR. Also can you pour it to look like the the blanks you buy at the store or online?

Coloring can be done with several types of coloring. I have best luck with the colors, dyes, and powders purchased for PR. Although I don't buy PR from them the best selection of dyes, pigments, and powders is Douglas & Sturgess Art Supply: http://www.artstuf.com Other successful coloring media I've used include India Ink, powdered tempra paint, and acrylic pigment. Acrylic has been so so for me. Some colors seem to change the curing time and some colors have problems curing. Don't remember which colors...I had less than successful results with acrylic.
Pouring to look like the blanks we purchase: Yes and No. Which ones are you trying to duplicate?
Have you read the various articles on casting polyester resin? There are several here in our library and more can be found at http://www.penmakersguild.com .
