coffee monet

I recieved this blank as a gift from PTownSubbie and man is it sweet. great guy to deal with by the way. thanks man!
the blank was hiddden in the box of Corian i ordered from Mr. PT
this was very challenging to turn but i am very happy w/the results. it is on a woodnwhimsies monet kit. for whatever reason the actual resin was easier to turn than acrylic, it was just challenging with the differing materials, and had to be soaked with CA a few times. finished with 6 coats of CA. this pen is reserved for my mother for Christmas. she is an avid drinker (of coffee)
